Highlights from the LVBots September 2013 mini-sumo competition

LVBots held a mini-sumo competition at Pololu on September 19. With a total of 19 robots participating, we got to see a lot of different strategies, from passive to aggressive to deliberately misleading. Sensing technology was of key importance, with robots using everything from sonar and optical rangefinders to accelerometers. Thanks for posting this video! Watching it and seeing all the different strategies the robots are using is really fun. I'm using the Zumo robot chassis in my embedded systems programming course, and my students gathered many good ideas how they could compete :-)

Cool! It's great to hear that people are using Zumos in their classes. We'd love to hear more about the course and see what your students come up with.
