Magnetic Encoder Disc for Mini Plastic Gearmotors, OD 9.7 mm, ID 1.5 mm, 12 CPR (Bulk)
These magnetic discs can be used with our mini plastic gearmotors (extended motor shaft versions only) as part of a quadrature encoder system that offers 12 counts per revolution. They are 2 mm thick with an outer diameter of 9.7 mm and an inner diameter of 1.5 mm. Appropriate Hall Effect sensors, such as those in our magnetic encoder pair kit for mini plastic gearmotors, are required to complete the system. These discs are bulk-packaged and must be ordered in multiples of five.

These are the same magnetic discs we include with our magnetic encoder pair kit for mini plastic gearmotors and Romi encoder pair kit. They are 2 mm thick with a 9.7 mm diameter, and the hole through the center enables them to securely press-fit onto the 1.5mm-diameter motor shafts of our mini plastic gearmotors (extended motor shaft versions only). The disc consists of six evenly spaced magnetic poles (three north-south pairs), which allows for an encoder system that offers 12 counts per revolution.
This bulk-packaged product is primarily intended for those wanting to integrate these encoder discs into their own systems in higher volumes, but the minimum quantity is set to five for those who want to just get a few as replacements or samples.
