Pololu Isolated Solid State Relay/Switch, SPST, 100V, 4.5A
This solid state relay/switch board provides a way to make and break an electrical connection based on a 2.7 V to 40 V input signal. Its electrically isolated output makes it suitable for various applications where mechanical relays are traditionally used, while its semiconductor-based design avoids many of a mechanical relay’s disadvantages. This version can switch up to 4.5 A of current at voltages up to 100 V (absolute maximum).

- I want to control the solid state relay switch with an NPN output. Is it possible to invert the control interface so a low signal closes the switch and a high signal opens it?
- You can invert the switch behavior by connecting a fixed voltage (2.7 V to 40 V) to VIN and EN and connecting your control signal (e.g. an NPN output) to GND. However, you should make sure that your control signal can sink up to 10 mA since it will be part of the control circuit’s power path. If it cannot, then it would be better to use the solid state relay module normally and add circuitry that inverts your control signal.
