Unspecified

A designation of “Unspecified” indicates that, while the item is not Generic, it is inappropriate to give it a more specific brand.

Typical examples include our T-shirts, which have a Pololu design applied to blank shirts of some other brand, and products that are simply combinations of items with various brands.

We might list an item as Unspecified if it is from a prominent brand, but we only carry a few items from that brand – like this electrode pack by Covidien/Medtronic. Unspecified items also include cases where we do not have anything to say about the manufacturer, but the item is too specialized to call Generic, like a bracket for a particular motor.

The branding of “Unspecified” items should either not really matter or be explained on our product pages, but please contact us us if you need more information.
