This 2.23" x 0.80" x 0.80" gearmotor is a high-quality motor with 25:1 metal gearbox that has the power to deliver both speed and torque. These units have a 0.276"-long, 4 mm-diameter D-shaped output shaft.

Gearmotor Dimensions:

The face plate has two mounting holes threaded for M2 screws. Note that these mounting holes are 13.5 mm apart, not 15 mm as shown in the diagram below. Additionally, unlike our other metal gearmotors, this unit has an output shaft that has a diameter of 4 mm rather than 3 mm.

These motors are intended for use at 6 V. In general, these kinds of motors can run at voltages above and below this nominal voltage, so they should comfortably operate in the 3 – 9 V range. Lower voltages might not be practical, and higher voltages could start negatively affecting the life of the motor.

At 6 V, this gearmotor will have a no-load RPM of around 500 with a free-run current of 160 mA, a stall current of 3 A, and a stall torque of around 40 oz-in (2.88 kg-cm).
