ACS724 Current Sensor Carrier 0A to 5A
This board is a simple carrier of Allegro’s unidirectional 5A ACS724LLCTR-05AU Hall effect-based linear current sensor, which offers a low-resistance (~1.2 mΩ) current path and electrical isolation up to 2.4 kV RMS. This version accepts a unidirectional current input up to 5 A and outputs a proportional analog voltage (800 mV/A) that measures 500 mV when the input current is zero. The typical output error is ±0.9%. It operates from 4.5 V to 5.5 V and is intended for use in 5 V systems.

Allegro Application Note AN296169: Characterizing System Bandwidth in Complex Current Sensor Applications (1MB pdf)
This is the application note referenced on page 16 of the ACS724 datasheet and page 22 of the ACS71240 datasheet. The ACS720 is used validate the test methods presented, but these same methods and principles would also apply to the ACS724 and the ACS71240.
